Why Google Is Not Going Away: On AllThingsD

Forbes published an article this week explaining why Google and Facebook could disappear in the next 5 years.

I, uh, beg to differ.

I wrote my thoughts on the subject in an article published on AllThingsD. You can read it here.

Give it a read. I think Google will be around for a long, long time. How about you?

Agree on Google. Google is a utility, not a toy. Google has became an in-separable part of internet life.

How about FB? Maybe Forbes is correct. Looking forward to reading your views about the future of FB.

I agree Google is not going away anytime soon. In fact they are going to continue to eat away at online search more and more. Facebook, I’m not so sure. I think it will always be there as a way to connect with your friends but in terms of business and marketing, businesses are getting frustrated with it. While Google+ is not as widely used, it’s such a better platform for business and connecting when you really dig into it.
