Account Strategist
You’re an internet marketing decathlete: The account strategist works with the rest of the Portent team and the client to formulate marketing strategy that typically includes SEO, PPC, social media, analytics and other tactics. Account strategists are the face of Portent with our clients – they are our lead marketing consultants.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Marketing strategy creation and communication
- Team coordination
- Client relationship management
- Campaign execution: You shouldn’t do the work. You should make sure the work gets done on time and at the level of quality required by Portent.
- Goal setting with clients.
- Results reporting and conference calls with the client.
- Overall account performance and achievement of marketing goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years as an internet marketing account executive or comparable, preferably in an agency setting, managing campaigns in SEO, PPC, and social media.
- Expertise in statistical analysis, data presentation and visualization/reporting.
- Expertise managing online marketing campaigns with multiple stakeholders and multiple deadlines to successful & measurable results.
- You are a highly strategic thinker; you not only know how to lead campaign ideation and execution, you tie it all back to metrics and KPIs.
- You thrive in an iterative environment of change, with many variables and shifting priorities.
- You have the ability to cut through the clutter and see what’s going to drive your client’s bottom line.
- High emotional intelligence: ability and desire to work with teams and clients of disparate backgrounds and subject matter expertise.
- Exceptional leadership skills & confidence to inspire others.
- Excellent writing ability.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
