momAgenda is an online and in-store retailer of quality planners. Though their product line and marketing are primarily directed at moms, the company also provides a number of products for people without children. The majority of their business is conducted online, though they have a presence in select quality, brick and mortar retailers as well.
In 2012, momAgenda contracted Portent to redesign their website. The goal was to design and produce a better converting site that stayed true to the established momAgenda brand.
momAgenda asked for a “clean, simple, and beautiful” site that would elevate and separate themselves from the competition. After developing UX-friendly wireframes and updating the momAgenda sitemap, Portent designed and developed a fully functional site that was attractive, navigable, and fast – three requisites for a successful online experience.
By augmenting a classic look with contemporary flourishes, Portent’s redesign achieved our client’s engagement goal, leading to an over 20% increase in ecommerce conversion rate year over year.
