Google Is Fast: Updates Blog Search in 120 Seconds
Ian Lurie Jul 18 2007
I’ll admit that I don’t warrant this kind of speed, but BlogStorm reports getting updated by Google Blog Search in as little as 120 seconds.
I’m going to experiment and test the theory right now. Back in a minute…
… and I’ll be darned. 3 minutes after I posted above text, it showed up in Google Blog Search:
Yowsa. That’s fast.
If you want the same, I suggest:
Using Feedburner’s ping service.
Signing up for a Feedburner account, and using the PingShot service under the ‘Publicize’ tab.
