Campaigns in their simplest terms are containers which hold your ad groups. You can have one or many campaigns within an AdWords or Bing Ads account. Campaigns allow ad groups to share locations, targeting, budgets and other settings. Campaigns give you the ability to segment your account and they allow you to have full control over what each campaign spends and targets.
