Definition

PPC is a form of online advertising where advertisers pay based on how many times users click on their ads. PPC is used to direct traffic to your website or landing page. In this system, you write ads, associate keywords with them, and then bid on those keywords using an ad network such as Google AdWords or Bing Ads. Based on your bids and competition for the keywords, your ads will appear on SERPs. When a consumer clicks your ad, they’re taken to your site and you’ll pay for that click. You do not pay if your ad is not clicked.
