Quality Score

Quality Score is calculated every time your ad shows for a given search query. It is determined by the relevance of your ad and landing page to the search query and the expected user experience.

Definition

Quality Score helps Google’s algorithm determine your Ad Rank which is then used to place your ad within the SERP. It is calculated every time your ad shows for a given search query using 3 components: expected CTR; ad relevance (to the keyword, landing page, search query); and landing page experience (how fast the page loaded, how relevant it was to the ad copy and keyword). . Quality Score is reported on a 1-10 scale, 10 being the best and 1 being worst. Having a high quality score (6+) will lead to lower average CPC’s and higher Average Positions on the SERP for your ads.
