Job Description:

As Communications Manager, you’ll work across job functions and geographies to develop, support, and track internal communication initiatives, projects, and programs. You will support the work of the Communications Team in the creation of strategic campaigns, innovative approaches to employee engagement, production and optimization of internal communication content, and co-management of our community partnership engagements.

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies that drive awareness and understanding, and connect employees to the organization’s mission and key messages
  • Develop multi-channel opportunities to engage employees across internal platforms—including meetings, intranet, digital, video, email, and innovative technologies and communications methods
  • Partner across the organization to provide tactical and strategic communications support for organizational information and directives, business announcements, benefits and wellness information, volunteer and charitable community events, and more
  • Partner with the Brand Team to ensure internal campaigns are aligned with brand guidelines and style
  • Proactively stays informed of the latest trends and developments within the areas of engagement and integration as they relate to the Communication Team’s KPIs
  • Implement and manage analytics, tracking, A/B testing, and performance for internal organizational communication needs
  • Manage cross-functional communication projects at the individual, team, and organizational levels
  • Drive development of internal messaging and framework that enhances organizational alignment
  • Own the management of our community outreach events


  • Experience developing communications programs that inform and engage employees
  • Ability to measure the impact of internal communications and use the data as feedback to guide and adjust strategy as needed
  • Strong writer, communicator, and content-creator with the ability to help shape a narrative and effectively disseminate information via presentations, scripts, emails, or other mediums without significant editing
  • Deep understanding of strategy and how it relates to all forms of compelling communication material
  • Ability to adapt quickly and prioritize when operating under circumstances that are often in flux and shifting
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple, high-stakes projects and deliverables simultaneously
  • Experienced and knowledgeable in crisis communication planning and execution, as well as reputation management
  • Ability to understand audiences and how to address them, including through development of personas  


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience in Communications, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
