Job Description:

Are you ready for a new career in an exciting environment that’s like no other company? Clearlink has an amazing opportunity as an IT Support Engineer for our Orem location! This individual will be responsible for helping our sales and corporate staff resolve hardware and software issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Comfortable supporting a wide range of hardware, including PC’s, Mac’s, peripherals and mobile devices
  • Respond and resolve tickets in a timely manner
  • Strong working knowledge of network environments including an ability to recognize and diagnose connectivity problems ranging from the local to organizational outages
  • Setup and configure hardware
  • Test and image desktop and laptops
  • Ensure that team is adhering to PCI and SOX regulations
  • On-call to respond to emergencies for technical, building, and safety concerns
  • Must be able to demonstrate attention to accuracy and details on all duties and responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of stable employment history
  • Customer service or technical support experience in a call center a plus
  • Thorough understanding of desktop hardware with ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
  • Thorough understanding of Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10
  • Understanding of basic network concepts with the ability to troubleshoot
  • Basic understanding of VOIP System and ability to troubleshoot
  • Basic understanding of Windows servers
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Ability to resolve all desktop or laptop issues that affect user productivity and provide training when applicable
  • Must be a self-starter & be able to use own judgement and initiative to undertake activities with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work under and complete projects under a deadline
  • Must also have excellent oral and written communications skills as well as the ability to work alone or with a team environment
  • A+ Certification or a 3 years of experience in IT or Desktop Support
