The PPC Specialist supports all of Portent’s PPC programs. They will split their time between learning the inner workings of PPC on some of Portent’s biggest accounts, while also being tasked with their own small business clients. A Specialist is here to learn a craft or discipline for the first time. They assist individual contributors in completing projects on client work. They are successful if they are helping contribute to client projects, gaining competence in their craft, and learning to handle independent work.

This is an opportunity for the right person to learn the ropes in one of the industry’s leading digital marketing agencies.

Reports to: SMB Team Lead

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the SMB Team Lead, Senior Strategists, and Strategists to help execute for clients on Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other paid platforms.

  • Assist in the maintenance of client relationships, which can include the coordination of client calls, emails, and other deliverables.

  • Track, measure, and report on all campaign work each month, partnering with Portent’s Analytics team when needed.

  • Contribute to the Portent blog and marketing initiatives.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Position Requirements

  • 0-1 years of experience

  • 35 hours per week – half-day Fridays!

  • An interest in running major paid search advertising platforms.
